Some of you may remember me from the 2001 Atlantic Rowing Race or from one of the ORS London dinners, or may have never heard of me in your life! Anyway, I took part in the Ward Evans 2001 Race in boat 45 called MCLLAID.  In the year after the race I approached a couple of sculptors who I hoped may be able to produce a small model of an ocean rowing boat as I wanted to have a momento by which I could remember that amazing adventure.  After several attempts, the sculptors and I gave up as it was going to be either too complicated or too expensive. However, I never forgot about this project and last year I decided to resurrect it and was determined to find someone who could produce a really great model at a realistic price and I think I have done just that!
